CMA entertainer
In the year 1989 was given the award for the CMA entertainer, and it was not only in that year he also won the award in 1990 and 2013. In the award of the country music hall of fame that was held in 2006, George Strait was allowed to perform his hit song “give it way” just before he would accept the award. George was the second artist to be appointed to the hall of fame awards.
ACM entertainer
The academy of country music award that took place in the 2000s he was named as the top country music artist. He was the first artist to get the award three times continuously, and this was so amazing because it proved that he was good at what he was doing in his music career.

In the year 1989 and 1990, George Strait won the award of consecutive entertainer of the year. The consecutive entertainer is the award given to a musician who has been in the music industry for long they still produce good music. Also, recently in 2013, George won the same consecutive entertainer award making him the first artist to win the award three different decades.
Milestone award winner
Milestone award is the most recent award that he won in 2015. George Strait was given this award for being an ACM winner for so many ears in a row. In the ceremony they were reminded of the things that the king of country music has done in the past years and why he deserves the award. The award happened to be the 50th anniversary of the milestone award.
