Scottish Art -
Paintings of Standing Stones
by D. Bruce Bennett
You stood beside the Standing Stones of Stenness on Orkney and shivered with nervous excitement. You watched the sun set behind Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain and gaped in amazement at these ancient standing stone circles.
Were your ancestors part of these massive building projects? Who knows? Since most standing stones and stone circles of the British Isles are shrouded in mystery, who's to say? Let's just pretend they were. Shouldn't you have something appropriate to commemorate your ancestors' zeal and effort, oh say, on that great, big, empty wall in your great room?
Whether you can trace your lineage back 5,000 years or not, if you can't get enough of the standing stone lore, you're on the right Scottish Art page. Just click on the Standing Stones below to browse our on-line gallery.

Couldn't find the standing stones you're looking for? Good news. We've photographed well over 200 UK sites. Using Ye Olde Bennett Photo Library and/or your holiday snaps, you can commission a painting.
Whoa. Don't back up yet. No worries. Our Scottish Art commissions are more reasonable than you'd guess and simpler than you'd think. A cursory look at our prices of these English and Scottish Landscapes will give you a ballpark idea of cost, and we're nice folks - really - to work with.

Please note that all Paintings of Scotland (and Paintings of England, too) on this site are the original artwork of U.S. artist, D. Bruce Bennett. United States customers pay no U.K. exchange rate, no customs duty tax, and no international mailing costs. All we have to add to the very reasonable price of our Scottish Art is plain old U.S. postage (and state tax for Colorado residents).
