Commissioned Scottish Art:
Scottie Dogs
by D. Bruce Bennett
Two Scotties at Front Door
Are you thinking, "Where in the heck are these Scottie dogs and, hey now, isn't this the front porch of an American home?"
You caught us. You're right: this is a U.S. home, and yes, the Scotties to the right of the front door are teensy but much loved by a family who insisted that their beloved Scottie dogs show up in this painting of their new home.

We've included this commission on our site to show our fellow Americans that it's possible to give prominence to your British Isles heritage, even if all you have left of it is a propensity for owning Yorkies!
Since this painting was for local clients, Bruce took photos of the house, and the clients provided photos of their Yorkies. Don't live in Colorado? Then you'll have to take your own shots and e-mail them to us. Then you'd follow the same path these clients took: view Bruce's JPGs as he works his way through your painting, send your revision ideas, view more JPGs, etc., till the painting meets your specs. Learn how the whole process works on our commission page and read what these clients said about their first-time commissioned-painting experience.
